Hello from the beautiful Highlands of Scotland!

I am looking out of my window at the sun shining on the spectacular Spey Valley, with a sprinkling of snow on the Cairngorm Mountains. Snow! In May! Yes, here in the Highlands we can see snow in the mountains until quite far into the year.

The garden is beginning to awaken from its winter rest, so I know that soon I will have to get out there and take control, before it controls me! I am not a natural gardener, but I do love to see flowers of every hue shouting at me from the greenery! I also love scented plants, so have attempted to grow quite a few herbs, with quite good success.
