Spring is here.... and so is the snow!

The clocks are changing again this weekend. This, along with the lighter mornings and evenings and the almost non-stop birdsong, is a sure indication of the arrival of Spring. Yes, Spring. However, no-one told those snow clouds that are dropping their load outside my window that they should have gone into storage a while back!
Never mind. I love the snow and we've already decided that we'll light a fire this evening and enjoy being cosy inside while it's still wintery outside.
Spring - a time of new beginnings. What new things are you planning? I am delighted that I have launched my 2 e-Courses on my website and that they are already earning me some delightfully positive feedback (and some income too!). It's an ending of sorts, but also a time of beginnings, as I am able to use the research I did for the courses to do different things as well. I already have 2 speaking engagements booked with the local Badenoch & Strathspey Women@Work group - see here. I'll be using 2 of the topics I cover in my 'Discovery' e-Course which are Motivation and Building Self-Esteem and Confidence. I have also been talking to some other people who are keen to have me speak to their particular groups.
Eric (my trainer) and I will also be getting together when he returns to the UK from doing a stint as a ski instructor to promote our joint venture 'Focus on Your Future'. Eric will be addressing the physical, fitness side of it and I shall provide the motivational and visualizing aspects. How do you see yourself in 20 plus years? Will you be a fit and able person, capable of looking after yourself and enjoying your life with very little assistance? Or will you be one of the frail folk, who cannot function without the care of others? I know which I want to be. This is partly why I am investing so much time and energy into working with Eric and on my own at the gym. This is my investment for my future. I want to be like my 71 year old Dad who puts men of half his age to shame. He not only works full time, he cycles, cooks, cleans, washes and irons for himself and when the sun shines he's down at the beach thrashing about in the waves!
That's living!
